What is the DILEMMA study?

The DILEMMA study (Decision making initiative for laparortomy in the emergency setting - a multidisciplinary judgement analysis approach) is a multinational quality enhancement initiative that aims at improving our understanding on how we as professionals - surgeons, anaesthetists and intensivists - take decisions when evaluating a patient for an emergency laparotomy using a technique called "Judgement Analysis". The DILEMMA study is preregistered with the Open Science Framework!
